After working as an in-house recruiter for US-based employers, Obioma Okorie saw firsthand how difficult it can be for qualified offshore professionals to access quality international employment.
Strong candidates often spend months applying through overcrowded job boards, submitting applications into systems where they are one of hundreds or thousands of applicants, or accepting remote jobs that pay far below the value of their experience.
The Remote Path was created to take a different approach.
Instead of simply spraying applications across job boards and hoping for responses, I identify suitable vacancies and put qualified candidate profiles directly in front of employers where there is a relevant fit.
Once a candidate joins The Remote Path, their profile is reviewed, strengthened, positioned for the right types of roles, and matched to suitable opportunities. Where the profile aligns with an employer’s requirements, the candidate is put forward for consideration.
This allows qualified candidates to spend less time searching and more time being considered for roles they are genuinely suited for.
The Remote Path also focuses heavily on what happens after a candidate is shortlisted. Having spent years interviewing candidates and working on the employer side of recruitment, I prepare candidates specifically for the opportunities they are shortlisted for.
The objective is simple: get qualified candidates in front of the right employers, then maximize their chances of converting those shortlists into actual hires.
